【遇心】縮小自己，幫不了任何人

 

瑪莉安．威廉森在愛的奇蹟課程(A Return to Love)這本書裡面說到一段很動人的話：

你是上帝的孩子。

你的小心翼翼幫不了這個世界。

縮小自己，好讓周圍的人在你身邊不會感到不自在，

這樣做並沒有意義。

我們都必須閃亮，像孩童般那樣發亮。

我們生下來就是為了彰顯我們內在的上帝的榮光；

它不是只存在於一些人裡面，

它就在每個人裡面。

當我們讓自己的光芒閃閃發亮，

我們也就在不知不覺中允許了別人散發光芒。

一旦我們從自我的恐懼中解放出來，

那麼自然而然的，我們的存在就會讓別人得到解放！

You are a child of God.

Your playing small does not serve the world.

There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.

We are all meant to shine, as children do.

We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.

It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine,

we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear,
